This two-room house
was the original residence before the larger house was built in
1892.
It had a chimney in
the middle that was built and supported from the wall about 4 feet from
the ceiling.
When the big
house
was built they wanted more light, therefore they put in many large
windows.
There were 52 windows in the house when we moved in. When we
remodeled,
we reduced the size
and number of windows.
